Lexington further proves its commitment to invest in new talent by immediately welcoming graduate, Jade Burgess, to the team. A second graduate has also accepted an offer to join Lexington in September after completing their studies. These new appointments reflect Lexington’s commitment to developing graduates as part of its wider people development strategy to grow the business.
Jade joins Lexington via Cardiff Capitol Region’s graduate scheme. Jade attended Swansea University, having achieved a first-class honours degree in Mathematics and obtained a Distinction in her Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
Jade has already enrolled on her ACCA training programme and said “In a relatively short space of time, I’ve been impressed by the breadth and depth of transaction experience and knowledge amongst the Lexington team. There’s a positive, can-do working environment that I’m sure I can thrive in as I progress my career. I’m really looking forward to continuing to learn more about M&A and progressing my journey towards completing my ACCA exams and becoming a qualified accountant.”
Jade follows on the heels of Adam Thomas-Brown, who joined Lexington’s team at the start of last year. Adam is a graduate of the University of Surrey having completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and previously interned at a London Corporate Finance boutique, an Asset Management Consultancy and was an Analyst at the Fintech Start-up, plural.ai. Adam is studying for his ICAEW qualification.
Gary Partridge, Managing Director, said: “Developing the next generation of talent is a key ingredient of the longer-term success of Lexington. The strength of our team is our biggest asset and we’re delighted to welcome an outstanding graduate in the shape of Jade to Lexington. We have made significant progress over the last year in growing our business to be one of the largest independent mid-market Corporate Finance boutiques operating across the south of the UK and we will continue to invest in our Team.”
