Cox

James joined Lexington in 2024 to lead the South West team based out of our Bath office. He has a wealth of experience in the M&A advisory space, working mostly with founder and family-owned businesses during his time at DC Advisory and PwC; he also spent some time at UBS working with larger corporates. James specialises in working with privately-owned businesses in the region across a variety of sectors, which typically range from between £5m to £100m in value. He thoroughly enjoys working with founder and family owners, helping them crystalise the true value for their businesses whilst ensuring their wider objectives for the company, short-term and long-term, are protected. He graduated with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College in London. When not at work, James can be found on a golf course, cricket pitch or walking his Irish Terrier, Murphy, around Bath and the surrounding countryside. He is also an avid fan and season ticket holder at Bath Rugby.
